CARE
Wood has natural characteristics such as, shrinkageswellingsurface splitting and minor movement due to the change in temperature and humidity. This won’t affect the durability or lifespan of your furniture or shelving. Movement within the wood is completely normal & in most situations we feel this adds character to the product. These natural movements are not structural defects.
Any product which is exposed to extreme heat, for example an open fire, or radiator, etc. can cause distortion in the wood.
To maintain the quality and longevity of your Cothi Rustic furniture, we recommend the following care instructions:
  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this may cause fading or cracking.
  • Use coasters under drinks and placemats under dishes to prevent marks and stains.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the wood and finish.
