Privacy and cookies

Cothi Rustic is the trading name of Susan and John Macadams. If you have any questions about your details, email us at hello@cothirustic.com.

When you order, we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number. We use them to make and deliver your order, send your confirmation, handle returns and keep the records HMRC requires. If you email us, we use what you send to reply. The law allows this because we need your details to fulfil your order, keep our records and answer you.

We never see your card details, we don’t send marketing, and we never sell your details.

We only share your details with those who help us run the shop: our payment providers (Stripe, and Klarna if you choose it), our couriers, and the services that host this website and send our emails. Some are based outside the UK, and where they are, your details are protected as UK law requires.

Order records for six years, because HMRC can ask to see them. Emails only as long as we need them.

You have rights over your details, including to see, correct or delete them: just email hello@cothirustic.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled them, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is saved in your own browser, and our visitor numbers are counted without cookies. On product pages, our payment provider shows Klarna’s pay-in-3 line, and its code may store a little information on your device to keep that secure. The checkout page, where you pay, uses its own cookies.
